Where does chocolate come from? And what qualities should we look for in good chocolate? Cookbook author and food writer Dédé Wilson takes chocolate aficionados on a virtual tour of how cacao goes from bean to bar, followed by a chocolate tasting. Learn how to truly appreciate and assess chocolate with all of your senses with a tasting of different varieties and sources from around the globe. Please join us in the Woodbury Room of the Jones Library at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017.
Pre-registration is required by March 8, as space is limited. Please contact Janet Ryan at 413/259-3223 firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your seat at this educational – and tasty – event that will show you how to truly assess chocolate from a multi-sensory perspective. Due to the amount of material covered in this class, as well as the length of the session, this class is best suited for those 14 and up.
