20% Off Downtown Holiday Sales Day & Red Ticket Month
RED TICKET MONTH
What is Red Ticket Month?
The Amherst BID and Chamber invite and encourage locals and visitors to SHOP & EAT LOCAL!!! This holiday season for every $25 spent at a participating business in downtown Amherst they will give you a red ticket!
After a full month of opportunities to SUPPORT LOCAL we are inviting all, on December 21st at 3pm to come down to Kendrick Park where Muddy Brook Farm’s Horse Drawn Carriage will be filled with the “twin” red tickets from money spent and kept local. On December 21st, at random, 5 tickets will be chosen: the first 4 winners with matching numbers and ticket in hand will win $250 and the final 5th ticket will win $1,000!!!
The evening will be filled with music with a walk up North Pleasant with the Dixieland Swing Band, Prone to Mischief, leading the way on our first annual child and grown-up friendly Hot Cocoa Crawl!
This event is free for the local businesses and to all who participate, there are no raffle tickets “for sale”. This event and drawing are purely a community builder as well as a reminder and reason to KEEP IT LOCAL over the Holiday Season!
What if I will not be here on December 21st?
You must be present to win. If you will NOT be here PLEASE shop and eat local and donate your tickets to an Amherst area nonprofit or give to a friend, family member or neighbor, and perhaps, they will win!
****You must have your ticket with you to win! All tickets will be numerical with no duplicates! An organization method will help you find your winning # and save time.
The event is FUN for the whole family, a great reason to come out of the house with the kids, grandparents, siblings and friends and see friends both new and old on the Kendrick Park Green!

20% Off Levellers Press Titles Only
Levellers Press, formed by the worker-owners of Collective Copies in 2009, comes from a completely different direction to a publishing world in flux. We have witnessed a revolution in imaging technology from the first analog color copiers, to Xerox Docutechs in the 1990s, to today’s 2400 dpi Xerox Docucolors printing on sheets as large as 13 x 19 inches. Unwieldy graphic files and slow computer processing have given way to lean Adobe Acrobat documents, high speed scanners and speedier RIPs (rasterized image processing). Our core business allows us to own this new technology, including the bindery equipment that completes a high quality print-on-demand publication. We find ourselves embedded in the rich political and cultural environment of Western Massachusetts where many worthy manuscripts go unpublished. As Levellers Press, we hope to provide a ready vehicle for authors whether we publish their work or help in a self-publishing effort. We have worked successfully with authors and publishers all over the U. S. and welcome all inquiries.

M&M Links website
“M&M LINKS started in September 2003. It came about after an extraordinary trip to Africa in the summer of 2003. We traveled to Zimbabwe and Johannesburg, and walked to the border of Zambia. We visited an Ndelbele village where women were making beaded aprons (lighabi) and beaded hoops (glowani). This experience led us to explore the art of jewelry making from different parts of the world. We specialize in handcrafted jewelry. Our designs are handcrafted using unique and exotic semi-precious, wood, bone, and clay. Our jewelry is exhibited in various festivals and fairs, pageants, bazaars, and special events covering from Upstate New York, down the east Coast to Florida.”

Vespa’s menu is inspired by the history and culture of northern Italy, primarily Tuscany, and the Mediterranean. Pasta is made daily. Sauces are made from scratch with the highest quality ingredients. Most meats are sourced locally when possible: Pork from Vermont, New Hampshire and the Hudson River Valley, cage-free chickens from Pennsylvania, quail and rabbit from Vermont, lamb and beef from Vermont and New Hampshire. The butchering of large cuts of meat, including veal, pork and lamb, are done in our kitchen. All seafood and shellfish are sourced from the Atlantic. We use classic Italian cheeses for cooking and cheese plates as well as artisanal Italian style cheeses from Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire cheese makers.
