13th Annual Downtown Amherst Block Party!

Preparations are underway for the Amherst Block Party, hosted by the Amherst Business Improvement District (BID) on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 5-9PM. This annual celebration brings thousands of people downtown to support local restaurants and retailers and celebrate Amherst's culture and community!

Are you a business interested in participating?

Whether you're a local business, food vendor, performer, or nonprofit, we invite you to apply for a booth at this year's event.

Please complete the form to share details about your organization and what you'd like to offer. Your responses help us coordinate logistics and ensure a smooth event for everyone.

Application deadline: Friday, July 31

Please note: space is limited, and we may not be able to accommodate every applicant. Priority will be given to downtown businesses and arts and cultural organizations. For-profit businesses outside the BID district will be asked to pay a $300 booth fee, which goes directly toward subsidizing this annual Amherst tradition.

Applications will be reviewed after the deadline closes. Please allow a few weeks for a response.
