This event is free and open to all! Artists and art enthusiasts are invited to Bistro 63 for a panel discussion with local gallerists, museum curators and publishers to learn more about opportunities to collaborate. Curious about how to get your work seen by the right people? Representatives from Interlink Publishing, University Museum of Contemporary Art at the University of Massachusetts, the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College, The Common magazine at Amherst College and APE Gallery in Northampton will chat about how they collaborate with artists on special projects. There will be a Q&A session and a networking reception following the panel. The reception will feature live art-making demos: painting by Naya Gabriel and electro-salt water etching by Wouter Schievink from the Rust Temple. Join us and meet fellow artists and enjoy snacks, sponsored by the Amherst Cultural District, the Massachusetts Cultural Council and Bistro 63. There will be a cash bar.
Panelists: Michel Moushabeck, Publisher/Editor, Interlink Publishing; Amanda Herman, Education Curator, UMCA, Danielle Amodeo, Marketing & Public Programs Specialist, Mead Art Museum; Lisa Thompson, Associate Director, A.P.E Gallery; Jen Acker, editor of The Common magazine.
